What are they building next to Summerlin Trace?

Several homes are in the process of being built in Summerlin Trace under various developers, according to Kirstie Dixon, a Brunswick County planner. Additionally, Summerlin Trace exists next to an industrial park, Leland Industrial Park, where there is noted activity. Mike Hargett, the county’s director of economic development and planning, said there are several companies in the industrial park that are expanding and others that are talking about expanding. Due to ongoing discussions, he was not able to provide specific names of companies talking about expanding.

“There are a number of different activities underway in the park primarily related to existing companies expanding,” Hargett said.
