Who is responsible for Shakespeare on the Green?

Mike Voorheis

Murphy Turner as Lucio (from left), Aimee Schooley as Mistress Overdone and Rick Forrester as Pompey will act in Cape Fear Shakespeare on the Green’s production of ‘Measure for Measure.’

Q. I saw the controversy about the director in the paper and wondered who is responsible for the Shakespeare on the Green beyond the managing producer.

A. Cherri McKay is the executive director of Cape Fear Shakespeare. The board of directors for the organization includes Kristin Norman LaFleur, Aimee Schooley, Bri Lindsay and McKay. An advisory board of volunteers also serves a role.
