Q. What is the name of the bakery opened by David, formerly of Sweet and Savory, and its location?

A. When David Herring started the Sea Salt Bakery almost three years ago, he created a very similar business to the early Sweet &Savory Café. He took over the space in Hampstead’s Cedar on the Green complex (17011 U.S. 17), in the former Coriander’s Fine Foods. Sea Salt offers breads and sweets for retail and wholesale clients, as well as catering.

For those who want to check it out, Sea Salt opens at 9 a.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. during the week, after Herring completes the deliveries. He’s also open until 6 p.m. for those who want to buy some fresh bread, or casseroles or pot pies or other dinner options, on the way home. Details: 270-1407.

Why hasn’t Frank’s Grill opened?

What restaurants in the area are BYOB?
