Where is Chris Marshall who used to be on Carolina in the Morning on WECT? He was the weatherman.

Ken Little

According to LinkedIn.com, Chris Marshall, a former weather forecaster with Wilmington TV stations WECT and WWAY, is president of Wilmington-based Surfchex.com, a Web site that offers live videocams, weather forecasts and surfing reports from a variety of locations, including Wrightsville Beach, Kure Beach and Surf City.

The site, Marshall said on LinkedIn.com, maintains a network of live streaming webcams and weather stations.

Marshall worked from 1996 to 2004 at WECT as morning and noon Meteorologist. He attended Mississippi State University and received a degree in Meteorology-weather/broadcasting in 1999.

His specialties, according to the LinkedIn website, “include Live Streaming Video and Weather Data, Application Development, Website Management, SEO, Google Adwords/Adense, Meteorology, Ocean Forecasting and Broadcasting.”

“In addition to adding video content, I also help build website tools geared with the latest technologies that add ‘unique content’ to websites,” Marshall wrote.

Marshall also worked at Enterprise Computer in Clinton, Ct., as a computer repair tech, but left that position over two years ago.

What happened to the WWAY 1990′s weatherman named Ken (or Kim)?

Where is Johnny Thomas, who worked in local TV in the 1950s?
