Q. How high are the television/radio/internet & wireless telephone towers along Market Street?

A. Karen Schulz, Verizon spokeswoman, said that according to the FCC registry, most towers in the Market Street vicinity in Wilmington are about 160 feet in height.

“Heights start to increase as one heads south around the intersection with U.S. 17, and it’s common to see 300- to 400-foot towers,” Schulz said.
