Are there alligators in Randall Pond?

Ken Little

Randall Pond is big enough for alligators, but are they there? (StarNews file photo)

Robbie Norville, coastal supervising wildlife biologist with the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission, said there have been alligators in the pond in the past.

Norville is not sure if any ‘gators currently call the pond, in Wilmington’s Devon Park community, home. At between 25 to 30 acres in size, Randall Pond certainly has the potential.
