What work is being done on the Leland side of the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge?

Ken Little

The N.C. Department of Transportation has been working at night to replace a support and the metal decking on one of the parking areas of the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge, N.C. DOT spokeswoman Tammy Stewart said.

The parking deck is located on the Leland side of the westbound lanes, Stewart said.

“The work is now complete except for touch-up painting of the repair,” she said.
