Whatever happened to John Blume, the man who went missing in December 2009?

Matt Tomsic

John Michael Blume’s case was cleared on Dec. 17, 2009, after Blume’s attorney called his family, according to an e-mail from Lucy Crockett, a Wilmington police spokeswoman. Blume’s attorney told the family Blume was alive and still in the area. Blume went home on Dec. 19 with some medical issues and was hospitalized.

Crockett said police don’t usually release information on missing adults if no foul play is suspected. Police didn’t think foul play was involved in Blume’s disappearance.
