What is the schedule to resurface roads in the Middle Sound Loop area?

Ken Little

The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority has the responsibility to repave and repair roadways throughout the Middle Sound Loop area once it completes sewer installation in the area.

Once the work is complete, “we would start the bid process and contracting process to have those identified roads paved,” CFPUA spokeswoman Carey Ricks says.

A contract for road repairs will be awarded in May, with work to begin in June, Ricks says.

“Any roads that were damaged at some point during sewer installation in the Glenn Arbor subdivision will be repaired as well,” Ricks says.

Repairs are scheduled to be complete by Dec. 15.
