When will Leland pave Northridge Drive NE and Maplewood Court NE?

The Northridge Drive paving project “is planned to start in the very near future,” said Steven Spruill, Leland public works director, in February 2011.

The bid for the project had been selected.

“Right now we are trying to work out some details in the contract documents,” Spruill said. “It has also been postponed because of the cold, snow and wet weather we have been experiencing lately, all of which do not go well with a paving project.”

The town will hold a community preconstruction meeting prior to the start of the project. The meeting time and location will be announced once the contract for the work is in place, Spruill said.
