Salary information for the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority is available on the StarNews website by clicking here, utility spokeswoman Carey Disney Ricks said.
“Administration is ‘accountable’ first and foremost to our customers, the region, our coastal environment and ultimately the board (of directors),” Ricks said.
The CFPUA Board of Directors has 11 members. All are appointed by either the city of Wilmington or New Hanover County elected bodies, Ricks said. Four of the 11 members “are themselves elected officials of the city and county,” she added.
If the City of Wilmington, New Hanover County and Cape Fear Public Utility Authority are all laying off, reducing force and freezing hires, why do they spend the money in the employment section of the classifieds?
