Local restaurants offer Thanksgiving buffets and dinner plates.

Here is a list of some of the restaurants offering Thanksgiving buffets in our area. Some places recommend reservations, and others require reservations. It never hurts to call ahead, especially if you have a party of more than four.

THANKSGIVING BUFFETS:

Blockade Runner Resort & Hotel, 275 Waynick Blvd., Wrightsville Beach [Map this], (910) 256-2251. Hours: 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Price: $45 adults; $16 (ages 6-12); $6 (5 and under). Reservations required.

Bluewater Grill, 4 Marina St., Wrightsville Beach [Map this], (910) 256-8500. Hours: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Price: $24.99 (adult); $11.99 (ages 6-12). Reservations recommended.

Carolina Barbecue, 2703 N. College Road, Wilmington [Map this], (910) 392-1955. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. $8.99 (adult), $8.49 (seniors), $3.99 (ages 3-10).

Eddie Romanelli’s, 503 Olde Waterford Way, Leland [Map this], (910) 383-1885. Hours: Noon to 7 p.m. Price: $14.99 (adults), $6.99 (ages 6-12). Reservations recommended.

Innovations at the Hilton Wilmington Riverside, 301 N. Water St., Wilmington [Map this], (910) 763-5900. Hours: Noon and 2:30 p.m. seatings. Price: $29.95 adults; $19.95 (seniors); $9.95 (kids). Reservations required.

Oceans at The Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort, 1706 N. Lumina Ave., Wrightsville Beach [Map this], (910) 256-2231. Hours: Seatings at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Price: $38.95 (adults); $18.95 (ages 7-12). Reservations required.

Some restaurants offer the traditional turkey and stuffing as a plate instead of a buffet.

    Other places open on Thanksgiving Day are Fat Tony’s (both locations), Front Street Brewery, Pilot House and Ruth’s Chris.
