UPDATE: Since we answered this question in November 2010, there have been quite a few changes. Paul Stephen address the changes in the first part, and we kept the old answer by Robby Nelms as it was in the second part.
Let us know in the Comments below if we missed anybody.
OK, lets begin with some eliminations:
Port City Takeout is gone
Fifth Street Seafood is gone
And then one change:
17th St. Deli is now called On A Roll. Different owners, different menu, but the address and phone number are the same.
Now for the additions:
Pita Delight (2 locations)
317 S College Rd, (910) 392-0028; 5916 Carolina Beach Rd., (910) 799-6692.
All Star Subs
911 North Lake Park Blvd., Carolina Beach [Map this].
Might as Well Bar & Grill
250 Racine Drive
Terrazzo Trattoria (limited range, call and ask)
Making dinner can be something of a chore. Sure, the kitchen can sometimes be soothing, but after a long day of working or holiday food preparation, the idea of a relaxing evening away from the stove and the accompanying work that involves, is all too inviting. Unfortunately, delivery food is usually the same old hum drum Chinese or plain old pizza. While nothing’s really wrong with either of these choices, there is something nice about having some selection when it comes to delivery dining. Just as with any delivery service, there are costs and delivery ranges that are unique to each establishment (and, always remember to tip your delivery driver). Here in the Port City, there are a number of excellent choices when it comes to food delivery services — and a couple that cater to many tastes, delivering food from numerous restaurants.
Here’s a list of a few, and let us know if you have some we’ve left out.
