What was the name of the dress shop that used to be where McAlister’s Deli is now?

You’re thinking of the Yvonne Howard dress shop, also known as Arb Inc., an upscale women’s clothing store managed by Yvonne Howard. Arb appeared in the Polk City Directory for Wilmington at 740 S. College Road, Wilmington [Map this] [Map this],');">[Map this] from 1990 through 1994. St. James Furnishing occupied the space before then.

McAlister’s Deli moved into the space in 2000.

This store was open for business prior to 1990. I was a customer there in 1989. I remember it being called Yvonne’s, not ARB.
