How much does each ‘The American Reinvestment and Recovery Act’ sign cost, such as the one on Randall Parkway?

Ken Little

The Randall Parkway sign costs approximately $1,300, according to the N.C. Department of Transportation spokeswoman Jennifer Garifo.

The cost is consistent with other American Recovery and Reinvestment Act signs located at ARRA-funded projects elsewhere in the state, Garifo said. No ARRA dollars were used to purchase the signs, she added.

All of the ARRA project signs have been erected on wooden posts so they can be reused for future projects. They will be recycled once all of the ARRA-projects have been completed, Garifo said.
