This informal French café’s mini burgers rival sliders at any American grill. The Angus ground brisket babies come topped with Roquefort or gruyere, caramelized onion and roasted tomatoes. The pommes frites served alongside are among Wilmington foodies’ favorite restaurant fries.

A half-pound burger cooked to order on a homemade pimento cheese layer that is nearly as thick at the burger. Don’t believe it? Check out the picture at Temptations’ Web site. The burger recently won a very honorable mention the best burger contest at the StarNews’ Port City Foodies blog. (http://blogs.starnewsonline.com/search/default.asp?item=2330639). Taster Paul Stephen said, “I think it is by far the best burger in Wilmington. Really, this thing is in a different category of food… A great bun, a thick layer of homemade pimento cheese spread over that bun, ripe and juicy slices of plum tomato…I could go on.”

Various locations around Wilmington
The half-pound certified Angus burgers made from ground beef that’s never frozen have won P.T.’s Olde Fashioned Grille numerous accolades. Many people consider it Wilmington’s best burger. Well-seasoned, juicy and served with hand-cut fries, the burger is an American classic, especially with a glass of P.T.’s homemade lemonade.
