Why are the electric dolphins at the Wrightsville Beach entrance not lighted for Christmas?

Q. Why are the electric dolphins the Wrightsville Beach entrance not lighted like all the Christmas lights?

A. “They have been on since prior to Thanksgiving but we have had an electrical issue that trips the breaker,” said Town Manager Tim Owens. “I noticed that they were not working last night and I asked our Public Works Department to fix the issue. We hope to have the issue resolved soon.”
