Autumn Hall, a development off Eastwood Road, is composed of single-family homes, the Headwaters apartment complex and commercial property.

The continuing-care senior housing development Carolina Bay is also under construction in Autumn Hall.

One 40,000-square-foot commercial building has been constructed and is leased to New Hanover Regional Medical Center, according to Brian Eckel of Cape Fear Commercial in Wilmington.

“We are actively working on the commercial development portion of Autumn Hall and have interest from a number of users,” Eckel said. “However, we will not begin developing the property until we get commitments from enough users.

“At this point, we are preparing to be ready to start construction in 2014 for a 2015 opening,” he said.
