Why aren’t fireworks laws enforced in New Hanover County?

Wilmington Police spokeswoman Linda Rawley said they are enforced.

To report suspected violations of the law, call New Hanover County non-emergency dispatch at (910) 452-6120. The New Hanover County dispatch handles all calls for the county and city.
