The CW Channel is currently not available in high definition in Wilmington. Russell Myerson, CW Television Network executive vice president, said the network has offered Time Warner Cable the option to broadcast their programs in HD.
According to Keith Pospon, a Time Warner Cable spokesman, a city needs a local broadcast station that is a CW affiliate in order to broadcast the shows in HD. Wilmington does not have such a station.
CW programs are available in standard definition in Wilmington by Time Warner Cable, received here via national satellite.
Pospon said that that the CW Channel may be broadcast in HD in the future.
