Nope. According to Andy Johnson, parks manager for New Hanover County, an alligator was spotted while the park was being constructed, but none have been seen since it opened roughly a year ago.
“There were reports of a small or baby alligator, so we put signs up to the educate the public about the possibility,” he said. “But there have not been any reports or sightings since.”
