The Starbucks at Oleander Drive and Independence Boulevard is scheduled to open in the spring, according to a Starbucks spokesperson.

The store will be the Seattle-based chain’s fifth in the Port City and its first drive-through here as well.

The current four are at Independence Mall, 317 S. College Road, 1705 Eastwood Road, Mayfaire Town Center and the Harris Teeter at 2800 S. College.

Starbucks announced Wednesday that it will open another 1,500 cafes in the U.S. over the next five years.
