Q. Why is there a city of Wilmington dump truck behind a private residence on South Churchill where there is a sign for a private renovation company? My question is why is a city dump truck being used by a private company is at a private residence?
A. City residential solid waste customers can have a city truck delivered to their house, and the debris hauled away by the city, for $150 a load, pending availability of a truck, city spokesman Dylan Lee said.
“That is what is happening in this case,” he said.
The number for the city Public Services Department is (910) 343-4777.
