Rest easy. That site will soon be the home of a new Mattress Firm store.
Opening its first store in 1986, Mattress Firm currently operates over 1,100 locations across 28 states. The chain offers a range of sleep options and, in recent years, has focused on the education of consumers on the link between a good night’s sleep and health.
According to Chris O’Keefe, planning/inspections director for New Hanover County, the project has been assigned Building Permit number 12-7814.
O’Keefe said Bradley Construction Inc. of Apex, N.C., is building the new store. Officials at the construction company were unavailable for comment.
