Q. N.C. DOT is planning to knock down the Third Street Bridge, over the railroad cut, and the project has already being funded. so when are they planning to do the work?
A. The Third Street Bridge is scheduled to be replaced by a new bridge structure in 2015, according to Mike Kozlosky, executive director of the Wilmington Metropolitan Planning Organization.
