It is U.S. policy not to deploy nuclear weapons aboard surface ships, attack submarines, and naval aircraft. However, the U.S. also does not discuss the presence or absence of nuclear weapons aboard specific ships, submarines, or aircraft, according to Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point spokesman Mitch Chandron.
