What’s the timeline for the Harris Teeter in Carolina Beach? The signs have been up for 2 years.

StarNews

The new Harris Teeter store at Carolina Beach is not opening any day soon.

The signs are for land at 1000 N. Lake Park Blvd., Carolina Beach [Map this].

Catherine Reuhl, communication manager for Harris Teeter, Inc., said, “Your reader is correct in that we do have plans to open a store in Carolina Beach. We have not yet, however, established a time frame for construction; and I do not yet have specifics about the project to share.”

That said, consumers will have to continue to venture off of the island to shop Harris Teeter. We will keep in touch with Reuhl and post any news, regarding this pending location.
