How much did UNCW pay for Magic Johnson to speak recently? What was the source of the funds?

According to UNC-Wilmington general counsel Robert Hoon, the university paid Magic Johnson $125,000 to be the inaugural speaker for the Daniels Distinguished Lecture Series.

The Daniels family paid the entire fee.

    richard – the answer clearly states Mr. Johnson’s fee was paid, in full, by the Daniel’s Family. No state money was used to pay Mr. Johnson.
