There’s a ton of pictures of the Battleship’s berthing, but is there any video footage?

The staff at Battleship North Carolina does have some video footage of the battleship’s berthing in 1961.

The estate of Hugh Morton donated some material, which reportedly includes an hour of footage including the preparations for the battleship’s arrival, in addition to the battleship’s journey to Wilmington and a close-up of the ship at its new berth.

Mary Ames Booker, curator at the battleship, said there’s also some color film footage of the ship on the ocean and moving upriver. The source of the tape is unknown.
