The city of Wilmington in winter 2012 was conducting a survey of road conditions throughout the city, spokesman Dylan Lee said.
The information from the survey, when complete later this year, “will rank streets based on widely used engineering standards,” Lee said.
“The city then will consider this data in relation to the amount of traffic on the various roads and develop a priority list for road repair,” he said.
Lee said there is not enough funding to conduct all of the repairs needed, “but those with the greatest need will get repaired.”
