Work is continuing on Masonboro Loop and Brookshire roads.

The city of Wilmington is completing the project on Masonboro Loop Road. The city is realigning the intersection on those roads.

“It’s actually a little ahead of schedule,” said Carl Farmer, a capital projects engineer with the city.

The Brookshire Road project is a N.C. Department of Transportation project, said Wanda James, an assistant resident engineer with the local N.C. DOT division.

“It’s on schedule,” she said. “We’re scheduled to be completed with that project on Dec. 1, 2011.”
