I live in New Hanover County, out of the city. Where can I carry yard debris?

You can bring it to the New Hanover County landfill, which is at 5210 U.S. 421 in Wilmington. The landfill charges a fee of $30 a ton for residential yard waste that isn’t contaminated by garbage bags or other trash.

A fee schedule of material you can drop off at the landfill can be found at the landfill’s website at https://recycling.nhcgov.com/fees.
