The Southwest Brunswick Branch Library is going to open at 9 a.m. Monday, June 18. Its hours will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday.
The old Hickman’s Crossroads Library closed to move. It will open at its new location in Calabash, 9400 Ocean Highway West, under the name Southwest Brunswick Branch Library.
The new location has over 200 parking spaces and more seating. It has one level, and 100 percent of the building is finished and usable, which will increase the library’s square footage.
The Friends of the Library is purchasing bookshelves and furnishings that will increase the amount of items the library can hold.
