Will the lines be repainted on Mount Misery Road in Leland? The road is very hard to see at night.

The section of Mount Misery Road between the Columbus County line and the northern I‑140 project limits was recently remarked.

The I‑140 project should be updating the pavement markings within its limits, said Jessi Leonard, state Department of Transportation Division 3 traffic engineer

Leonard said the section between US 74/76 and the southern I‑140 project limits “is on our radar for remarking and we hope to have this completed within the next year.”
