Who is responsible for maintaining sidewalks and grass along Third Street? Who should I complain to if I feel it isn’t being maintained?

Ken Little

The plaza area between the sidewalk and road is the adjacent property owners’ responsibility, said Malissa Talbert, City of Wilmington communications manager.

“If it is the public median, it is the city’s responsibility,” Talbert said.

She said that anyone who has a concern or complaint should call the city’s Code Enforcement Office at 341-3266 and a city staff member will go out and perform an initial inspection to determine if further action needs to be taken.
