What is going on with the fish camp in Ogden? It has been vacant for years.

Bill Walsh

Jones Fish Camp, 7770 Market St. in Ogden, closed in the early fall of 2013, and the 1.3-acre lot and rustic 3,800-square-foot restaurant built in 1986 were put on the market for a reported $995,000. Later, the property was listed by Maus, Warwick, Matthews and Co., which currently advertises the property for $895,000, with a note on the website that a sale is pending.

According to Keith Austin, who handles that account, the property has been under contract for nearly two years, scheduled to close in March 2018, and that the restaurant will be razed with new apartments rising from the ruins.
