Is there a starting date for construction at the intersection of Military Cutoff Road and Market Street?

Tim Buckland

Yes, there is, N.C. Department of Transportation spokesman Brian Rick said.

Rick said the project is scheduled to go to bid in November, with construction starting in January.

The work is part of the $135 million extension of Military Cutoff Road connecting to the soon-to-be-built $152.2 million Hampstead bypass project.
