Are there any new developments in bringing a music festival to Brunswick County?

In 2015 a group was in talks with Brunswick County to see if it was feasible to present a large music festival there akin to Cincinnati’s Bunbury Festival, which pulled in 60,000 people that year.

Mike Hargett, director of economic development and planning for Brunswick County, said to his knowledge there have been no new developments relating to bringing large-scale music festivals to the county. However, Hargett said there has been some discussion and planning for large-scale concerts done on a conceptual level.
