ATMC spokesman Aaron Varnam was not aware of any system-wide issues with WECT channels or channel discrepancies.
He said the issue could be the result of annual remapping and reprogramming done at the end of the year to get the system ready for the new year, but the best solution for any customer experiencing problems is to contact ATMC with issues.
“We can run diagnostics on the box and see if it an issue with the box and if it is just a localized issue,” he said.
One confirmed change in channel placement for ATMC customers in 2017 will be CBS, which will now be overseen by WWAY. On Jan. 1, it will move to channels 13 and 913.
