Wrightsville Beach homeowners are not allowed to charge people to park in their personal spaces.
Town manager Tim Owens said anyone caught doing this can having their parking space permit revoked and may be subject to a civil fine.
“Any of those passes are assigned directly to that individual and they can’t be sold, traded, rented out, anything like that,” he said.
