How long does it take to get over the bridge from downtown Wilmington to Leland at 5:30 p.m. on a Friday night?

The time it takes to get over the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge varies, though it can take longer during rush hour. There is no exact time for getting over the bridge.

Checking Google Maps at 5:30 p.m. on two recent Fridays revealed commute times of 7-8 minutes from Dawson and Third streets in Wilmington to N.C. 133 on the other side of the bridge. But it also noted that those times were in less traffic than usual.

For those of you who make the drive over the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge at that time, how long does it take you to complete the span on a typical Friday?
