North Carolina maintains the secrecy of the ballot, which means that elections officials do not associate votes with an individual voter’s records, said Joshua Lawson, general counsel for the N.C. Board of Elections.
“Accordingly, there is no way by which a voter can request and receive a copy of their past selections,” he said.
