What subdivision is going in off Myrtle Grove Road right before Sentry Oaks?

Ken Little

The Grove subdivision plan received preliminary approval in October 2015 from the Technical Review Committee of the New Hanover County Planning Board.

The Grove subdivision at 6110 Myrtle Grove Road includes 25 lots and 10.10 total acres. It is north of the Sentry Oaks subdivision.

The development company is TRS Holdings LLC, 420 Beasley Road, Wilmington [Map this]. The developers are Tom Smith and Steve Shuttleworth, according to documents submitted to the county Planning Board.

The subdivision is zoned R-15 residential. Its road network is private. The public access road into the subdivision is Myrtle Grove Road.

The TRC preliminary approval stipulated that there be no gates, traffic-calming devices or on-street parking permitted.

Three waivers were granted by the TRC for cul-de-sac length, road inter-connectivity and road pavement width.

Water and sewer service will  be provided by the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority.
