Why is there a fence around a few trees at the entrance to Wheel Estates on Military Cutoff Road?

Ken Little
StarNews

A woman who did not identify herself before hanging up answered the phone June 2 at the Wheel Estates mobile home park at 294 Military Cutoff Road.

The woman said that she did not want to answer the reader’s question for publication in the newspaper. She said that anyone with a question about Wheel Estates is welcome to call the mobile home park and speak with an employee. The telephone number for Wheel Estates is (910) 350-0002.

City of Wilmington spokesman Dylan Lee recently said that the fence was erected prior to annexation of the property by the city, and “therefore is not in violation of city code.”
