Q. The land along the 6100 block of Myrtle Grove Road is being cleared. Will new houses be built there?

A. The land being cleared in the 6100 block of Myrtle Grove Road will soon be home to aptly titled The Grove, a residential development approved for 25 single-family home units.

The development was given the greenlight by New Hanover County’s technical committee in October 2015. Sam Burgess, senior planner for county, said he is not aware of a start time for construction but he expects it will be soon.

“I imagine they are anxious to get going since they are pushing dirt out there,” he said.
