If I process a deer at home, how can I dispose of the head, skin, bones, etc.?

A. The only approved way of disposal is to bury or leave it on property you own or at the local landfill. But to dispose of it in the New Hanover County Landfill, the waste must have been generated in New Hanover County, which if the deer is processed in New Hanover County although it was shot in a different county, is okay. The other place you can bring it is to the western entrance to Holly Shelter Game Land, where there is a disposal container.
