The final segment of I-140 is on schedule for completion in November 2017, according to Brian Rick, a N.C. Department of Transportation spokesman.

Once completed, I-140 will be connected between U.S. 74-76 and U.S. 421.

“Various structure and roadway operations are underway,” Rick wrote in an email.

Has the recent flooding on the Cape Fear River effected the anticipated completion of the final portion of the Wilmington Bypass (US 421 to US 74/76 at Leland)??
