Why is land on N.C. 133 in Rocky Point being cleared?

Q. What is the land being cleared for on N.C. 133 in Pender County, across the highway from where a new church is being built?

A. According to the Pender County planning department, no plans for those two tracts have yet been filed with the county, and it is likely that they are simply being cleared now, with, likely, a new residence to be constructed in place of an older home that is being demolished.
