Is there a way to check if I was issued a red light camera citation if I never received the citation in the mail?

Any person who suspects that they may have entered one of the city’s Safelight intersections on red may call 910-343-4762 and inquire at least two business days after the incident, said Don Bennett, Wilmington traffic engineer.

Bennet said information will only be provided to the registered vehicle owner.

According to Bennett, it typically takes 7-10 days for a red light incident to become a citation and arrive by first-class mail.

“If a vehicle owner receives a citation by mail, log in information is provided that allows the owner to review the images, see a video of the infraction, pay the citation or request an affidavit to transfer to a known driver if the owner was not driving,” he said.
