Can’t stand the idea of spending an entire day in the kitchen? Fear not; there are dozens of Thanksgiving dining options in the Cape Fear region for folks who would rather let someone else do the dishes. If we’ve missed any on the list below, please send details to paul.stephen@starnewsonline.com.

Atlantic Seafood & Steaks (5059 Southport-Supply Road SE in Southport) is open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. with a traditional Thanksgiving lunch for $10.95. Call 457-4477 for more information.

The Blockade Runner Resort’s restaurant, East Oceanfront Dining (275 Waynick Blvd. in Wrightsville Beach,) is staging a Thanksgiving Feast with seasonal dishes from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. $45 for adults, $17 for children 13 and under. Call 256-2251 for reservations.

Bluewater Waterfront Grill (4 Marina St., in Wrightsville Beach) hosts a Thanksgiving buffet 11 a.m.-7 p.m. $24.99 for adults, $11.99 ages 12 and under. Call 256-8500 for reservations.

Bridge Tender (1414 Airlie Road near Wrightsville Beach) serves a four-course meal from 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. with the option to upgrade turkey or ham to prime rib for an additional cost. $24 for adults, $14 for children. Reservations at 256-4519.

Carolina Ale House (317-C S. College Rd., 791-9393) is open with their usual menu Thanksgiving evening from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Carolina BBQ is open for the holiday serving their buffet with traditional additions from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 2703 N. College Road (392-1955) and 1602 S. College Road (799-3464) in Wilmington. Cost is $10.99 for adults, $9.99 for seniors over 60 and $4.99 for children 10 and under.

Casey’s Buffet at 5559 Oleander Drive in Wilmington is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Years past have seen a large turnout, but reservations are not accepted. Details at 798-2913.

College Diner (911 S. College Road in Wilmington) is open 24 hours, seven days a week, including Thanksgiving. In addition to their regular menu, they’ll have a holiday plate with turkey and the trimmings for $9.95. Details: 793-0991.

Eddie Romanelli’s in Leland (503 Olde Waterford Way) is hosting a buffet from noon to 7 p.m. It’s $15.99 (adults), $7.99 (kids 5-12) and free (5 and under). For reservations call 383-1885.

Front Street Brewery (9 N. Front St.) opens at 11:30 a.m. with a plate of sliced turkey, green beans, mashed potatoes and stuffing for $7.99 Details: 251-1935.

Golden Corral always hosts a full house for the holidays. Locations at 5211 S. College Road (392-7777, open 10 a.m.-8 p.m.), 5130 New Centre Dr. (392-1984, open 10:30 a.m.-7 p.m.) and 4690 East Coast Lane in Shallotte (754-8100, open 10:30 a.m.-7 p.m.) will serving turkey and all the trimmings, $12.99 for adults.

Henry’s (2508 Independence Blvd. in Wilmington) is open 11 a.m.-7 p.m. with a full menu and selection of holiday favorites. Turkey or ham plates run $18.99, or $24.99 for a combo. For reservations, call 793-2929.

Hilton Wilmington Riverside (301 N. Water St. in Wilmington) serves a holiday buffet at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Price is $30.95 (adults), $20.95 (seniors), $9.95 (kids 5-11) and free for those under 5. Call 763-5900 for reservations.

Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort (1706 N. Lumina Ave in Wrightsville Beach) will host two buffet seatings at noon and 2 p.m. Cost is $39.95 for adults, $19.95 for ages 6-12, and free for 5 and younger. Call 256-2231 for reservations.

Hoplite Pub (720 N. Lake Park Blvd. in Carolina Beach) opens at 1 p.m. with a traditional holiday menu. Call 458-4745 for more information.

Hops Supply Co. (5400 Oleander Dr. in Wilmington) offers their full menu 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and a turkey plate with a choice of three sides. Details: 833-8867.

K&W Cafeteria (3501 Oleander Drive in Wilmington) is open regular hours for the holiday with a Thanksgiving special for $7.49. Details: 762-7011.

Oceanic (703 South Lumina Ave. in Wrightsville Beach) is open 11 a.m.-7 p.m. with a full lunch and dinner menu and a selection of holiday favorites. Reservations at 256-5551.

The Pilot House in downtown Wilmington (2 Ann St.) is serving a four-course holiday meal that includes appetizer, soup or salad, entrée and dessert for $26.95. Hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Call 343-0200 for reservations.

Port City Java locations in Wilmington will be open until noon for an early pick-me-up.

The Pub/Sweet & Savory Café has two holiday options. There’s a family style meal at Sweet & Savory (1611 Pavilion Place near Wrightsville Beach, 256-0115), with seatings available from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. featuring holiday staples and a few Southern twists. $24.99 for adults, $14.99 for kids 4-11 and free for those under 4, and reservations are required. Also, The Pub (2012 Eastwood Road, 679-8101) will serve a turkey plate for $14.95 from noon-6 p.m.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House (301 North Water St. in the Hilton Wilmington Riverside) serves a three-course Thanksgiving turkey dinner for $38.95 from noon to 8 p.m. Make reservations at 343-1818.

Shell Island Resort (2700 N Lumina Ave, Wrightsville Beach [Map this]) is serving a Thanksgiving buffet with seatings at noon and 2:30 featuring traditional offerings and some seafood and vegetarian options. $39.95 adults, $17 kids 4-12. More information at 256-8696

Tidal Creek Co-op (5329 Oleander Drive) is open 8 a.m.-2 p.m. for last minute purchases and Thanksgiving fare on the hot bar.

Whole Foods Market (3804 Oleander Drive, 910-777-2499) is open 8 a.m.-2 p.m.for last minute groceries, and the hot bar will serve turkey and all the fixings from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
